Visa Innovation Center Singapore 2024

“Spatial and visitor experience design for Visa Innovation Center Singapore.”

Weaving the Asia-Pacific Networks

Weaving is a popular handicraft across AP countries, from Japan’s bamboo weaving to Chinese silk, SE-Asian textiles, and Australian native baskets, and its interconnected lines and nodes, symbolising Visa’s vast networks, can inspire and integrate into both interior structures and digital materials.

“Embrace the essence of Asia Pacific identity, redefining form and space through openness, fluid curves, and vibrant dynamism.”

Immersive Fintech Experience

The space design features a large client experience zone that seamlessly integrates technology to create an immersive, learn-through-play environment. Highlights include Fintech insights delivered through interactive projections, four unique scenes depicting a week in life on a 5m diameter rotating platform, and an immersive glimpse into the future of commerce.

“Over a 45-minute tour, visitors engage with six key interactive showcases blending tactile and digital elements.”

Blending Physical and Digital Experiences

The design emphasizes a ‘phygital’ experience, merging physical and digital interactions to enhance engagement. By combining real-world elements with cutting-edge technology, the space offers a dynamic and interactive journey that bridges the gap between tangible and virtual worlds.

“Discover how Visa partners with fintech and ecosystems to drive innovation and deliver groundbreaking solutions to market.”

“Immerse in Web3, crypto, and DeFi while exploring Visa’s data, security, and the future of commerce.”

Shaping the Future of Commerce

Visitors gain a comprehensive, innovative view of Visa’s role in shaping the future of commerce. Blending physical and digital elements, the experience is memorable and impactful, showcasing Visa’s dedication to advancing technology and enhancing client engagement.

Hospitality

The host and dining area design draws from Asia-Pacific cultural richness, blending traditional materials like rattan, wooden carvings, brass, and Peranakan tiles. This creates a sophisticated space reflecting Visa’s global vision and regional craftsmanship. A custom silkscreen mural visually connects diverse cultures through commerce. The area serves clients and staff, with over 50 client groups praising its welcoming atmosphere.

“The co-creation area features smart glass partitions and operable wall panels, offering a flexible space that adapts to diverse events and gatherings.”

Working Space

The spacious workzone, designed for over 40 team members, promotes collaboration and flexibility with an open layout. A sustainable ceiling feature, made from upcycled wooden trellises, reflects Visa’s commitment to environmental responsibility. The space supports flexible work arrangements, while vibrant card art murals energize the environment. Adjustable desks, ergonomic chairs, and architectural lighting enhance comfort and productivity.
